Through Our Eyes: Rebuild Hot Springs Area
A community-authored book documenting Hurricane Helene and the recovery of Hot Springs, North Carolina.
After Hurricane Helene, the story of Hot Springs could not be told from a distance or reduced to a single account. It lived in the memories of residents, business owners, volunteers, first responders, families, and neighbors who experienced the storm and the long work of recovery.
The project brought those perspectives together into a published book built from local voices, community photographs, captions, and firsthand material.
